LARC facilitates fun, interactive events that take you from surface-level small talk to meaningful connection through simple conversation and relationship-building practices.

“The strength of relationships is the single most powerful predictor of happiness and longevity.”

- Harvard Study of Adult Development based on 80 years of longitudinal research

The world's oldest, happiest, and healthiest people have one thing in common… Connection.

And the research shows most of us are missing this key ingredient. Loneliness now affects 1 in 4 people globally. Anxiety and social discomfort have doubled among young adults since 2010.

Connection is a skill you can learn through LARC's structured approach—whether at our public events, private events, or with our book.

LARC is your practice ground for the conversations you're designed to be having, with strangers to the people you love most.

LARC’s Approach

  • We haven't lost the ability to connect. We've lost the opportunities and willingness to practice. The problem is fear, habit, and a world that stopped giving us reasons to talk to each other.

  • Go first. LARC starts with strangers because when you can hold an honest conversation with someone you've never met, every other conversation gets easier.

  • The step most people skip. After every event and chapter, we ask: what landed, what surprised you, what would you do differently. The CHATS agreements (Confidentiality, Honesty, Accountability, Curiosity, Silliness) make it safe to be real. This part can't happen alone. That's why community is built into the method.

  • The skills you build with strangers start showing up everywhere. Friendships go deeper. Family conversations get more honest. You stop dreading avoiding conversations and start trusting yourself to handle them. Relationships improve, and the cycle starts again.

I really enjoyed the LARC event in San Diego. Structured enough to guide us, yet open enough to feel completely natural. That balance made it easy to connect with others and be reminded of how effortless it can be to talk with someone new.

LARC is built by three people who believe the best things in life start with a good conversation. We teach it, practice it, and still mess it up sometimes. That's kind of the point.
